Do you want to see God in action; do you want to see the power of the living God? Do something as His conduit; don’t be afraid—you’re not going to be embarrassed. Stretch out; don’t hold back—you’re not going to come up short; it is all up to you. God is looking for you to just believe, to follow His instruction, and when you do, He will rock your world and the world of those around you—if you will just have faith in Him and receive His promises into your life. He will perform His promises in your life, and just like Sarah, you will say “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”

EP 22 - For Such A Time As This - 10/13/17

Lavinia takes you through some life lessons in this episode with the Book of Esther. It begins with the Queen of King Ahasuerus, Vashti, snubbing the king's request to meet with her. Naturally, being a rather unstable fellow, Ahasuerus fires/divorces her. Now, he needs to pick a new queen and eventually manages to select Esther, a comely, young (secretly Jewish) woman who is a part of his harem. Lavinia does not hold back so buckle up and enjoy!

EP 16 - An Interview with Lilian Acom Okore - 8/18/17

Besides being Lavinia Pastor and mentor, Lilian Acom Okore is a former model and Miss Uganda, 1997. She participated in the 47th Miss World Competition held in Baie Lazare, Seychelles on November 22, 1997. She also participated in the "Miss New Model International" contest in Cairo, Egypt and emerged with the title: Miss Congeniality. She has been an advocate for the traumatized children of war in northern Uganda under the banner of World Vision and appeared in a kaleidoscope of events all over the world.

EP 13 - Leah, What's In a Name? - 7/28/17

From the moment she appears in Scripture, Leah is described as having "weak eyes" (Genesis 29:17). Yet Leah was eclipsed by her younger sister, Rachel, who was "lovely in form and beautiful."

Unfortunately, Leah's future husband, Jacob, had eyes only for Rachel. He worked for his uncle seven years in return for Rachel's hand in marriage, yet when the wedding night came, Jacob was so blinded by love he didn't notice the bride sharing his bed wasn't Rachel. "When morning came, there was Leah!"
